March is Fraud Awareness Month
Good Afternoon Members,
March is Fraud Awareness month and the ACTA Fraud committee along with the ACTA ON council would like to share some important information with you regarding fraud.
The following documents are for your reference and available on the ACTA website, within our Travel Fraud Prevention Resource:
- Best Practices Checklist for Retail Agencies to Prevent Internal Fraud – created by the ACTA ON council for ACTA members.
- Report Fraud Form – to be completed and sent to ACTA at fightfraud@acta.ca for any fraud incidents that occur at your business.
We cannot stress enough the importance of sharing your fraud incidents because the more we share together as an industry regarding fraud the better chances we have of preventing further fraud incidents. We need to work together collectively to combat fraud in our industry. - What to do When Fraud Occurs – contact names and information for ACTA members.
