ACTA AB Golf Tournament

ACTA Alberta/NWT’s objective is to make this event about all agencies and all of our valued travel agents.

If your company is interested in building its profile within the travel industry in Alberta, consider sponsoring ACTA’s August Event.  This is a unique opportunity to connect with ACTA member travel agencies and other industry leaders.  This year’s event takes place just west of Red Deer on Monday August 22nd, 2016 and will include both a golf event for our participants who are golfers and alternate events for non-golfers. Everyone will meet together following all activities for a reception, awards and banquet dinner.  Don’t miss out. 

Golf at Alberta Springs - Golfers can enjoy their day on the links with a cart fleet, equipped with GPS. Located 5 minutes west of Red Deer on Hwy 11, Alberta Springs golf course is a “must play” for your visit to Central Alberta. This immaculately groomed treasure features a selection of 4 tee boxes to accommodate all levels of play. Come and experience the exceptional service and outstanding facility at Alberta Springs. 

Additional events are as follows: 

Day Spa – Safari Spa in Red Deer will provide a day of indulgence. Massage, Body Wraps, Pedicure, Manicure, and Makeovers – a day to remember. A Spa Cuisine lunch will be provided as well as refreshments giving everyone time to mingle.  This is the event for those who wish to be pampered, lunch, wine and be dolled up for the party in the evening.

Ranch “Man Tracker” – this is a blast!  See if you can out run our RANCHTRACKER.  Every year we have those sure they can outsmart the “Man Tracker”.  It all starts as formed groups are dropped off at a predetermined site on the Ranch.  Everyone will have 2.5-3 hours to travel on foot to 4 separate points as shown on a map that will be provided with approximately a 15 minute head start to start. All are required to grab each flag at the 4 points and the goal is to get all 4 flags before you are caught by the tracker.  Win or Lose everyone has a fantastic time. All enjoy a cook out and refreshments and a great day on the Ranch.

New this Year – Pub and Paintball!  Participants start the day enjoying lunch and a beverage on the rooftop at the Fireside Restaurant, beachfront at Sylvan Lake. Following lunch they head to Sylvan Lake Paintball.  Everyone will get geared up and the event is on.  Leaders will take the group to different outdoor courses where all can have some fun. 

Once again, this, being an unrivalled industry networking event, will be even better.  Last year, attracting over 160 participants with agents far outnumbering the sponsors, we wish to guarantee even more attend this year.  Extend your invite to your producing agents or “Rising Stars” and treat them to a fabulous day out.  Come and connect with ACTA, our Partners, Allied members, Sponsors, Travel Agency Owners and Agents from throughout Alberta.
