ACTA participates in Young Travel Professionals (YTP) networking event in Toronto

On Thursday November, 5th 2015, the Toronto chapter of Young Travel Professionals (YTP) came together with Humber College’s Tourism Management program to host a networking event at the Hotel Novotel Toronto Centre. ACTA's resident "young professional" and YTP member, Lauren Harris was in attendance in support of the new generation of travel professionals entering our industry.

YTP members representing different segments of the industry participated in round table sessions where Humber College students were able to interact and ask questions as they transition from graduates to employment. Contiki Holidays Canada President, Brad Ford added to the content of the evening emphasizing the importance of asking for mentorship as well as investing in travel to gain more experience to enhance career choices.

Students were engaged and passionate about their futures in the industry, sharing their goals and stories of their successes. ACTA is thrilled to be connected to, and welcoming the next generation of young talent into the industry and look forward to supporting them as they grow and reach their goals.
