Reminder: Deadline for registering for Travel Industry Act Consultations
Dear ACTA members,
This is a friendly reminder that the deadlines for registering to attend the in-person consultation sessions to support the government’s review of the Travel Industry Act are quickly approaching. The ministry has also added an additional consumer-specific focus group session to seek feedback from members of the public.
The consultations will solicit feedback from members of the public and the travel industry in response to the issues identified in Phase 1 of the Travel Industry Act review consultations, as outlined in a report to be released in advance of the consultation meetings.
If you have not already done so, please click here to register for a meeting if you wish to participate in the consultations. Space is limited so please register a minimum of 7 days prior to the session date to secure a spot.
When registering, please advise if you require any special assistance (e.g., accessibility, French translator) so that we can accommodate these needs.

While all consumers are invited to attend these sessions, consumers are also invited to attend a focus group session on Wednesday, March 8th, 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Centre for Health & Safety Innovation, 5110 Creekbank Road, Mississauga, in the Ontario Presentation Centre North.
