PCI DSS compliance – UPDATE

In our March 1st issue of ACTAVision, we shared information on what you needed to do to become PCI DSS compliant. At that time, we advised that IATA was not ready to receive any documentation of compliance. As of the end of last week (March 22nd), notices started going out to IATA appointed agencies explaining what was expected, how to submit the documentation and when to submit it. The “how to submit” has not changed and the time period to complete remains 30 days from when you receive your notice. What has changed is “what” you need to submit. IATA now requires a shortened version of the full Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) called an Attestation of Compliance of AOC. For any member that has started or completed the SAQ through Accel pci, notice has been sent explaining what they are doing to assist you in complying with IATA’s request.

ACTA has offered members much information and tools in the Members Only section of the ACTA website to assist you in this complex subject.
