Len Nathan was the keynote speaker at Baxter Travel Media's recent annual Travel Law Conference at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson, University, Toronto. Len was a key spokesperson for ACTA, worked for a number of Canada’s major tour operators, was a trustee of the original Ontario Compensation Fund and is one of the best chroniclers of Canada's travel industry. In his address, he gave a highly personal reflection on the journey that he has seen the travel industry take over the past 40 years. This is a transcript of his address:

Our industry can perhaps be better understood with hindsight and in order for you to better understand from whence we came, I believe it necessary for me to write a little history of my own.
