Ashley Morgan wins ACTA/ Air Canada Tomorrow’s Leader Award

Ashley graduated from Westervelt College in London late 2012 and began working in our office in April 2013. Right from the onset Ashley demonstrated excellent counselling abilities, people skills, and organizational skills. However, her most positive attribute is her desire to constantly learn and update herself on everything related to travel. She has a tremendous thirst for knowledge and great passion for travel. She is constantly doing webinars, attending presentations, and updating our office Facebook page. In the two years she has been with us, she has set up several groups and is already escorting a group to Peru in November. She set up this tours and marketed on her own to personal networking. She also decided to take advantage of our tuition reimbursement program and enrolled in two university online courses through the University of Western Ontario. She completed “Principles of Marketing” and “Business Administration”. The courses gave her insight into management styles, human resource management and customer relationship management. Here she learned the importance of CRM in our industry. Ashley plans on getting her Professional Management, CIM designation within the next few years.  While doing all of this she manages to play on a volleyball team once a week and volunteers with an organization that helps to guide young teenage girls.

In my 30 years in the travel industry I have never worked with such a friendly and self-motivated young person. She has a great passion for success and for the travel industry. I believe we will be hearing more about Ashley Morgan in the next few years and I also believe our great industry is going to benefit from her passion for knowledge and success.
