IATA BSP Advisory

Dear ACTA Members,

ACTA has received the following update from IATA:

As a consequence of Jet Airways’ (9W-589) cessation of operations and following Passenger Agency Conference Resolutions, the airline has been suspended from all BSP Operations with immediate effect.

The airline participated in the following BSP markets:

Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Botswana, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, China (People's Republic of), Chinese Taipei, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong SAR, China, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Korea, Republic of, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Macao SAR, China, Malawi, Malaysia, Mauritius, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, United Republic of, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Vietnam, Zambia, Zimbabwe

Additionally, IATA has signed a refund agreement with the Airline, which will allow Accredited Agents participating in our BSP operations to request refunds for passengers that were not able to use their tickets.

The procedure describing the refund process will be shortly circulated to all Agents by the GDC.
