For almost two years ACTA has been working on the industry issue of Agency Debit Memos (ADMs) with the goal of reducing the number and volume generated in Canada. Canada is ranked as the fourth worst globally. While the number one and two reasons for ADMs in BSP Canada is related to Commission errors and Chargebacks, IATA is seeking input for a more in-depth market analysis in 2019 that will be reviewed by the Agency Debit Memo User Group (ADMUG). ACTA is a member of the ADMUG. ACTA is encouraging you or the person in your agency most informed on ADMs to participate in this survey. The results are expected to provide valuable insight into our market and will be discussed at a soon-to-be announced ADM Forum, which ACTA and IATA will be hosting in the fall 2019.
The deadline to complete the survey is Sunday September 1, 2019.
The first ADM Market Analysis, that was undertaken in 2017, brought us to a better understanding of the state of ADMs globally and gave us valuable insights that supported our strategy in promoting solutions and best practices more efficiently. Two years later, we would like to hear again from Airlines and Travel Agents how the situation with ADMs is evolving and what areas of improvement should the ADMUG focus on .
We have recently announced the re-launch of the Market Analysis and we need your support. As the Industry’s Subject Matter Experts, your involvement in this study is fundamental for us to have a precise comprehension of the markets, thus, we will be very grateful if you could respond to the survey by September 1, 2019.
Thank you to those of you who have already responded to the survey, you can disregard this message.
We are looking forward to hearing from you!
