• In the Network, airlines are the Issuers (they provide accounts to corporations) and airlines are also Merchants (they accept UATP as a form of payment).  
• Currently, there are 27 Issuers worldwide and over 300 Merchants.  
• 95% of available passenger seats can be purchased with a UATP account/card in virtually any part of the world.  
• UATP is processed just like other credit cards – via GDSs and airlines directly.  
• It is a central bill, corporate liability product that is primarily lodged (no plastic).

In Canada, Air Canada and WestJet both issue UATP accounts/cards to corporate customers and travel agencies to use to purchase airline tickets.  Robust data and detailed reporting are a common feature offered by both the ACGlobe program and the WestJet UATP Program.  Additionally, UATP allows tickets to be purchased in over 130 currencies which is then converted to the currency in which the customer pays their invoice.  Unlike other forms of payment, UATP charges no currency conversion fees.
