Meet ACTA’s New Director of Advocacy and Industry Relations, Steve Olmstead! | May 26, 2023

ACTA is pleased to announce our new Director of Advocacy and Industry Relations, Steve Olmstead. Steve lives in Nova Scotia and comes to us with over 20 years of advocacy experience. His most recent position was with CAA Atlantic where he was Director of Social Responsibility and Advocacy, which means he is somewhat familiar with the travel industry and travel agency/advisor advocacy issues. He also worked in advocacy positions for the Insurance Bureau of Canada, Nova Scotia Power, and the BC Real Estate Association. Steve has an Honours BA in Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University and has also completed professional development courses in Business, creative and policy writing at the University of British Columbia. ACTA welcomes Steve’s enthusiasm for the travel industry, and his keen interest to start working and advocating on your behalf.
