Best Year in History! More tourists than ever come to Israel!
Toronto – Thursday, December 12, 2019 - With more than 4.5 MIL tourists of which 100,000+ were Canadians, Israel is growing in popularity for many. The mixture of rich culture, layers of history, diverse landscapes and amazing culinary is the strong value proposition delivered for tourist dollars. With over 70 new world-wide air routes it is more accessible and affordable than ever.
The Israel Ministry of Tourism in Canada celebrated this soon to end great year of 2019 at Parallel Restaurant, with an incredible Israeli breakfast spread of culinary creations. This unique venue was able to give a taste of the Israeli cuisine to enhance the “surround-sound hands on” gastronomic experience. The event was attended by a mix of TMAC travel writers, Social media stars from Travel Massive and other “freelance” travel bloggers and select stake-holder members of the Travel Trade, and including EL AL Israel Airlines and Air Canada.
Personal testimonials were shared during the event, by Mr. Noel Hulsman, Head of Media at Yahoo Canada – athlete and competitor in Iron-Man and other Israman triathlon competitions, Ms. Liz Devine Director at Rainbow High Vacations who returned form Israel last week and shared her exciting and grueling adventure experiences in the Negev Desert, and Suzanne Wintrob, Journalist at Hello Canada Magazine, talked about her genuine passion for Israel, and experiences including running a leg of the Jerusalem Marathon, and attending the trend setter Tel Aviv Fashion Week.
