Congratulations to Gwynne Whitby-Thomas!

Canadian Tourism College (CTC), an ACTA 5 Star endorsed Tourism trainer based in Vancouver and Surrey BC, is proud to congratulate Gwynne Whitby-Thomas on her retirement this Fall.

Gwynne has had an exceptional career as Assistant Director of Tourism Programs and Instructor that spanned more than 21 years, all with Canadian Tourism College. Gwynne is a long standing member of the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies, and a Certified Travel Counsellor with 20+ years’ experience working in the Tourism industry. Gwynne then transitioned to the vocational post-secondary sector where she assumed the role of Tourism instructor and eventually Assistant Director of Tourism Programs. In 2013 Gwynne was named the Educator of the Year by the National Association of Career Colleges for her exceptional work in post-secondary training. She was a key driver in building Canadian Tourism College’s tourism curriculum earning it a 5 Star Endorsement with ACTA. Her legacy will live on at our institution for years to come with her expertise and influence woven throughout our Tourism programs.
