2027 Join, Renew, Refer and Certify Program builds member connections and professional growth during ACTA’s 50th anniversary year.

The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors (ACTA) is celebrating the travel advisor community with the return of its Join, Renew, Refer and Certify Program for 2027—and an extraordinary opportunity to win a cultural expedition for two with Aurora Expeditions.

The 2027 program runs through July 31, 2027, recognizing four ways advisors contribute to a stronger profession: joining ACTA, renewing membership, referring a new member and achieving certification. Each qualifying action earns one ballot toward the grand prize. All eligible membership renewals, including CTC certification renewals, will qualify retroactively to the official launch of ACTA’s membership renewal drive in September 2026.

The winner will receive a complimentary cabin for two on an Aurora Expeditions cultural expedition, valued at up to $21,000 CAD per person. The winner can choose from seven eligible 2028 departures featuring itineraries across Europe.

“Our members are at the heart of everything ACTA does. Every new member, renewal, referral and professional certification strengthens our community and the future of our profession. As we celebrate ACTA’s 50th anniversary, we’re especially pleased to recognize that commitment with an unforgettable opportunity made possible by Aurora Expeditions.”

Aurora Expeditions’ continued support also connects Canadian travel advisors with its cultural expedition experiences.

“We’re proud to partner with ACTA in supporting Canadian travel advisors. Their expertise and passion inspire clients to discover expedition cruising and experience some of the world’s most remote and remarkable destinations, and we’re honoured to support a program that celebrates their contribution,” said Beth Mercier, Vice President, Sales, North America.

Building on strong participation in the previous program, the 2027 initiative encourages continued engagement, professional development and connections across Canada’s travel advisor community.

The grand prize winner will be announced at ACTA’s 2027 Canadian National Travel Industry Summit on September 9, 2027, at the Toronto Congress Centre. The Summit takes place during ACTA’s 50th anniversary year, bringing the industry together to celebrate its achievements and look to the future.
