The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors (ACTA) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 26, 2026, and is pleased to announce its 2026–2027 Board of Directors. 
 
The new ACTA Board of Directors is as follows: 
  • Gary Gaudry, Atlantic Region – Treasurer 
  • Serge H. Malaison, Québec – Secretary 
  • Monica Johnstone, CTC, Ontario – Chair 
  • Melanie Carter, CTM, Manitoba and Nunavut – Vice-Chair 
  • Heather Calvert, Saskatchewan 
  • Peter Keyter, Alberta and Northwest Territories 
  • Mark Greenwood, British Columbia and Yukon 
  • Brian Robertson, Director at Large 
  • Zeina Gedeon, Director at Large 
  • Rocky Racco, Director Appointed by the Board
  • Michael Johnson, Director Appointed by the Board
  • Lyne Côté, Director Appointed by the Board 
The Board also elected its Executive Committee for the 2026–2027 term, consisting of Monica Johnstone, Chair; Melanie Carter, Vice-Chair; Gary Gaudry, Treasurer; and Serge H. Malaison, Secretary. 
 
The 2026–2027 Board reflects ACTA’s continued commitment to strong national representation and diverse industry leadership from across Canada. The Board brings together experienced professionals from multiple regions and sectors of the travel industry, reinforcing ACTA’s national perspective and collaborative leadership approach. 
 
ACTA extends its sincere appreciation to the outgoing Board of Directors for their leadership, dedication, and service in advancing ACTA’s mission and supporting the Canadian travel industry. ACTA also appreciates their continued commitment to the association and looks forward to their ongoing engagement as active members of the ACTA community. 
 
ACTA also congratulates and welcomes the incoming 2026–2027 Board of Directors and looks forward to working collaboratively to support members, provide strategic leadership for the association, and continue advancing the travel advisor community across Canada. 
 
The Board of Directors will meet in June 2026 for strategic planning discussions focused on establishing ACTA’s 2027–2029 priorities, organizational objectives, and future initiatives in support of ACTA members and the Canadian travel industry.
