Airlines Suspended Operations

Dear ACTA Members,

Kindly note that airlines have suspended operations over Baghdad, Tehran FIRs, Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman following NOTAMs issued by the FAA in 07 Jan 2020 prohibiting flights at all altitude to use those airspaces. This has impacted U.S operators and operators with U.S. Codeshares.

The following airlines have confirmed rerouting of their flights to avoid above mentioned airspaces:

• BA
• AF
• KL
• LX
• LH
• SQ
• VS
• AC
• QF
• GF
• EK is only avoiding Tehran FIR

Delta Airlines as well as Cathay Pacific Airways are also avoiding Iran and Iraq.
