Ever since 1992, I’ve been deeply passionate about working in the travel industry and giving back by sharing my experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm with the next generation. I place immense value on mentoring new travel advisors, supporting their professional growth, and encouraging them to reach their full potential.

 

For me, passing on knowledge, offering guidance, and inspiring confidence are core values. Seeing new talent grow and succeed in this profession brings me incredible pride and motivation. It’s especially rewarding to watch advisors who took their very first steps at our agency go on, after a few years of experience, to launch their own businesses and open their own agencies. I always joke that we must be a great school! Their journey is a true testament to their determination and talent, and we take immense pride in having played a part in their success.

 

The travel industry is constantly evolving, and adapting to new technologies is essential to remaining competitive and meeting the growing expectations of our clients. I always encourage up-and-coming advisors to stay curious, pursue ongoing training, and use technological tools as allies, all while preserving what truly makes our profession valuable: the human touch.

 

In my view, the true strength of a travel advisor goes far beyond simply booking a trip. It lies in our expertise, active listening, and deep understanding of each client’s unique needs. Every traveler is different, and our job is to deliver the right product at the right time, tailored to their expectations, budget, and lifestyle. Our industry expertise, destination knowledge, and supplier relationships allow us to offer personalized advice and craft unforgettable experiences.

 

A great travel advisor is also there when the unexpected happens. Whether it’s itinerary changes, delays, cancellations, or more complex situations during or after a trip, we step in to find quick solutions, reassure our clients, and alleviate their stress with professionalism and empathy. That dedicated support is often what makes all the difference.

 

I firmly believe that our industry’s success relies on knowledge sharing, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to future generations of travel advisors. Guiding new talent and watching these professionals thrive—whether as part of our team or through their own ventures—remains one of the most rewarding highlights of my career.
