ACTA promotes the value of booking with an ACTA member travel agency in Montreal
ACTA participated in the SITV consumer travel show in Montreal the weekend of October 24. Throughout the weekend just over 33,000 consumers walked through the trade show which was held at Place Bonaventure. Manon Martel, regional manager for ACTA in Quebec, was in attendance with the support of her Council Members.
During the trade show the ACTA team promoted the value of booking with ACTA travel agencies and how to choose the right Travel Agent. Fraud tips were also shared and it was clearly explained why "without a travel agent... you're on your own."
Thousands of flyers were distributed to consumers detailing top reasons to book with an ACTA travel agency and many were pleased to see the travel industry had an association who is backing their members to ensure consumers receive expert advice, personal attention, peace of mind, convenience/time savings and trust.
For Travel and Tourism students in attendance, we promoted professionalism and the value of the Travel Industry as a career option. 50 students registered for enrollment into the CTC/CTM professional designation program.
The trade show was a great success and we look forward to participating again next year.
