Seabourn and ACTA Renew Corporate Partnership Agreement for 2018

Seabourn, the world’s finest ultra-luxury cruise line offering a range of cruise experiences from short seven-day Caribbean itineraries up to an exotic 128 day luxury voyage around the world, has renewed its Bronze Level Corporate Partnership with the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA), which began in 2018.

“Seabourn is a firm supporter of travel professionals across Canada and beyond, since they provide an invaluable service to travelers who seek life-shaping experiences in all corners of the world,” said Chris Austin, senior vice president for Global Marketing & Sales at Seabourn. “This year we’ll continue to share more about Seabourn through the network of experienced ACTA advisors across Canada, including details about our newest ship, Seabourn Ovation.”

ACTA, with its travel agency members employing over 12,000 travel agents, offers Seabourn opportunities to engage ACTA members while being recognized as the Bronze level Cruise Line partner of the association, working together as a team within the community. ACTA and Seabourn will support each other through a mutual commitment to work in the best interest of the travel agency community.

ACTA is thrilled to be partnering once again with Seabourn Cruises,” said Wendy Paradis, President of the association. “Sales of Luxury Travel is a market that continues to grow and we know that these travelers are turning to professional Travel Agents to plan and manage their luxury travel investment. Through Seabourn’s support of Canadian Travel Agencies and their contribution to education through the Seabourn Academy, ACTA members will be introduced to the finest travel experiences as well as how to attract and satisfy a luxury travel clientele.”

As the newest ultra-luxury fleet in the industry, Seabourn’s intimate ships offer key elements that set the line apart: spacious, thoughtfully appointed suites, many with verandas; superb dining in a choice of venues; open bars throughout the ship; fine wines poured at lunch and dinner; award-winning service and a relaxed, sociable atmosphere that makes guests feel right at home onboard. The ships travel the globe to many of the world’s most desirable destinations, including marquee cities, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and lesser-known ports and hideaways.

Travelers who covet outdoor adventures will also find the Ventures by Seabourn optional for-charge excursion program in select destinations on many itineraries, including Alaska, Antarctica, Europe, Australia and Southeast Asia. Guests may book these tours in advance on Seabourn’s website.
