Louise Gardiner, Senior Director, Operations and Product Solutions North American Leisure for CWTcurrently sits on the ACTA Ontario Council and is a TICO Board member as well as Chair of the TICO Business Strategy Committee. ACTA would like to congratulate Louise on achieving the professional designation of Certified Travel manager (CTM). Over the past year Louise invested in her professionalism and completed all of the components and passed the exam required to achieve the credential. Congratulations Louise!

ABOUT LOUISE GARDINER, CTM
As Senior Director, Operations and Product Solutions North American Leisure, Louise Gardiner is responsible for setting and implementing Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s leisure operation strategy for Canada. She is responsible for the overall leisure operational execution of 150 leisure travel locations which represent over $1B in sales within Canada for both the Leisure and Local Business (LLB) branches as well as the Associate Franchise Network. She also has executive leadership responsibility for all facets of leisure product solutions for North America and USA Military & Government leisure including website & desktop strategies as well as client loyalty technologies and mid/back office strategic directions. Louise oversees a team of business analysts who support the leisure Canada technology road map.

Louise brings 35 years of experience in the Leisure travel industry and has a proven track record in running successful operations and building strong teams. Since joining CWT Canada in 2004, Gardiner managed branch fulfillment for both the leisure and mid-market corporate segments. She also oversaw the Associate Franchise Network, and was instrumental in ensuring all branches delivered a consistent service and product offering across Canada for all CWT’s preferred membership customers.

Louise currently sits on the ACTA Ontario Council and is a TICO Board member as well as Chair of the TICO Business Strategy Committee. Prior to joining Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Gardiner was Vice President of Tripcentral.ca and the Meissner Travel Group of agencies in her home town of Kitchener Ontario. During this time she was honoured with the CWT Outstanding Associate Branch of the Year and the KW Better Business Bureau Integrity Award. She is currently a Past President of the Rotary Club of Kitchener and was nominated as Kitchener Waterloo Woman of the Year for her philanthropic Rotary service. Gardiner, a member of the Executive Team, is based in Toronto and reports directly to Sherry Saunders, Senior Vice President and General Manager, CWT Canada.
