IATA goes paperless
IATA has announced it will no longer accept any New Head Office, Branch or Branch Abroad application submitted by post or e-mail from 1 September 2016.
IATA requires that from this date all applications be sent via the recently launched IATA Accreditation & Changes online service.
The online platform was rolled out in March 2016 to streamline the accreditation and agency change processes. It allows all new and already accredited agents to submit new applications and will in the near future also allow agents to notify IATA of any change using simple and interactive forms.
The platform can be accessed via the IATA Customer Portal at www.iata.org/cs and guides any agent to find the relevant list of criteria, required documents and information thus ensuring the whole application process becomes faster, self-service and easier for our customers.
