IATA: DISH 22.0 Migration - Remaining Agents/ Follow up

ATTENTION: BSP CANADA - Accredited Travel Agencies

SUBJECT: DISH 22.0 Implementation

Further to our previous communication on March 26th 2015 regarding the implementation of DISH 22.0, we are pleased to advise that BSP Canada will migrate to the updated DISH 22.0 standard effective June 1st 2015.  In support thereof, GDSs will begin reporting agency sales data in the new DISH 22 format on June 1st 2015.

If your Agency is ready to process version DISH 22.0 HOT files on June 1st 2015, please inform the DISH22 Implementation Team at dish22@iata.org by no later than May 26th and they will provide you with the HOT file in 22.0 format.

On the understanding that not all agencies will be ready for the cut over by the 1st June, IATA will continue to provide the existing HOT files in 20.3 format until August 30th, 2015 (P2015085). The provision of HOT files in 20.3 format from 1st period of September (P2015091) to last period of November 2015 (P2015115) can be made available however they will be subject to an additional cost. Please note that the 20.3 format will be discontinued completely effective on November 30th (P2015121).

In order to ensure successful implementation of the new DISH 22.0 format please make sure that:

  • Your back office systems are capable of processing the updated DISH 22.0 format HOT file.
  • You have retrieved the DISH22 test files made available to your company as previously communicated
If you have any queries in this regard, please contact the DISH22 Implementation Team at dish22@iata.org
