DAVID MCCAIG RETIRES AS ACTA PRESIDENT & COO

Dear Members,

On August 21, 2015 ACTA announced the retirement of President and COO, David McCaig who joined ACTA in 2001 as the Regional Manager of ACTA British Columbia and Yukon. David moved through the ranks to the position of Vice President and General Manager for Canada in 2003 at which time he became responsible for the revenue side of the association, including Membership, the IATA ID Card Program and Partnership Programs.

In 2008 David became President and COO of ACTA and took on all responsibility related to leadership, strategy, finance, membership, lobby and advocacy for ACTA’s members.

Mary Jane Hiebert, Chair of the ACTA Board of Directors, stated "On behalf of the Board and Members of ACTA, we thank David for his leadership over the past 7 years and extend best wishes as he begins this new chapter."

ACTA wishes to assure the members that it is business as usual under the strong leadership of the management team consisting of Heather Craig-Peddie, Vice President, Marco Pozzobon, Director of Digital and Communications and Christine Chilton CTC, CTM, Director of Education and continued guidance from the Board of Directors.
