Bill C-168 - Sexual harassment and workplace violence
In accordance with Bill C -168, organizations are responsible to address and investigate all complaints of sexual harassment and workplace violence. Additionally, the completion of risk a ssessments and effective policy development are required by legislation.
The costs to employers resulting from sexual harassment claims include lawsuits, damage to public image, a loss in productivity, loss in profit, greater absenteeism, low morale, as well as health and safety risks.
