Update from ACTA Atlantic
During the recent ACTA Atlantic Council meeting at the Delta Barrington in Halifax presentations were made to the winners of the Ches Chard Award for 2014.
The Ches Chard Award was established in memory of Ches Chard, who played a key role in education awareness within the industry and was instrumental in establishing the first travel school in the Atlantic provinces. The award is awarded to an individual, a travel agency or a group of travel agencies that have demonstrated a significant commitment to professionalism, education and training and excellence in human resources management.
Due to outstanding nominations two winners were chosen this year - Andrea Rowbottom and CAA Atlantic. ACTA congratulates the co-winners for their outstanding achievement in the travel industry.
