Air Canada's Duncan Bureau is Rouge's new president

Duncan Bureau, vice president, global sales at Air Canada, has been named president of Air Canada Rouge, effective immediately.
Chatting with PAX, Bureau said: “It’s very exciting and I’m looking forward to working with the team at Rouge, who have accomplished a lot of great things already,” Bureau said. “Air Canada has been growing so quickly and Rouge has grown tremendously over the last four years. We haven’t had a president’s role over there for a while, and it’s an important contributor to the overall mix of business for Air Canada. It’s certainly a strategic asset, as it relates to dealing with LCC’s and any other entrants coming into the marketplace. We think it’s the right tool for us to be competitive and to maintain our relative position that we have today, as well as ad markets where historically, we wouldn’t have been competitive based on the type of aircraft we were applying.”
