ACTA offers the Industry Recognition Pathway Program, an initiative designed to formally recognize the expertise and contributions of experienced travel professionals across Canada.

This program provides an opportunity for travel professionals with 10 or more years of industry experience to have their knowledge and accomplishments formally acknowledged. Eligible candidates who meet the program requirements can earn the industry-recognized Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) or Certified Travel Manager (CTM) designation by demonstrating their extensive experience, rather than completing the traditional certification pathway.

As part of the application process, candidates must provide proof of current employment in the travel industry that validates their 10+ years of current industry experience, along with a reference letter from a supplier, wholesaler, or other travel industry partner supporting their professional experience and contributions.
