Manulife and ACTA extend their Corporate Partnership through 2019
Manulife is the retail travel insurance supplier of choice for ACTA

The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) and Manulife are proud to announce the renewal of their Corporate Partnership through to 2019. This Platinum Level Corporate Partnership will ensure that more Canadians receive the information they need to get the travel insurance they require for their travel plans. Under the partnership, ACTA and Manulife will work closely on industry outreach initiatives and advocate on behalf of travel agencies for issues related to travel health insurance.

“Our travel agency partnerships allow us to continue to educate Canadians about travel insurance and ensure they have the information needed to make informed purchase decisions to protect their travel plans and their investment ,” said Robert Iafrate, Associate Vice President Travel Insurance, Manulife. “We are extremely pleased to continue to support the interests of ACTA and their membership for this important component of their business model.”

Wendy Paradis, President of ACTA, expressed her strong support for the renewal of the corporate partnership. “Our corporate partnership with Manulife is extremely important to the members of our association. As vacationing trends continue to become more sophisticated Canadian travelers need to be protected without confusion, misinterpretation or doubt," Paradis says. "Manulife is both a leader and key supporter of the travel insurance industry and Travel Agents. We are very excited to have renewed our partnership and are pleased to recognize Manulife as a Platinum level Corporate Partner of ACTA."

ACTA and Manulife are committed to work together in support of the travel agency community. "It is critical for our members to have access to relevant content and information," Paradis adds. "Our Corporate partnership with Manulife gives our members a travel insurance resource to pass onto their clients."
